Forms of a line

Slope-intercept

y = mx + b. m is the slope, b is where it crosses the y-axis. Best for graphing.

Point-slope

y − y₁ = m(x − x₁). Best when you know a point and the slope, which is most of the time.

Standard

Ax + By = C. Best for finding both intercepts fast: set x = 0, then set y = 0.
